ARTICLE III:  ORGANIZATION

 

SECTION 1.  The Association is an organization consisting of:

a.       Certified Technology Education teachers from Connecticut

b.       Technology Education supervisory personnel

c.       Non-voting members---

d.       Specifically:

1.       Elected officers (the Executive Board)

2.       Committee Chairmen, permanent (standing) Committee Chairmen, temporary

3.       Executive Director

4.       Board of Directors/Executive Board, hereafter to be known as “the Board of

5.       Directors” (B.D.).

6.       Members- active, passive

7.       Why a board of Directors?---Legally it means:

[a]                Complying with the law

[b]                Fulfilling trusteeship responsibilities for the members of the corporations--- (The Association)

[c]                Helping the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) carry out his or her responsibilities.
